Operations Manager Plugin

The Operations Manager plug-in enables the monitoring of Dell hardware assets that are discovered in OpenManage Enterprise using the System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) console. The plug-in monitors device inventory, health, and alerts for Dell servers, modular systems, and network switches. The Operations Manager plug-in allows for:

  • Connect System Center Operations Manager console to OpenManage Enterprise.
  • Push hardware monitoring data and alerts to the connected Operations Manager console.
  • Alert cause and resolution viewable within System Center Operations Manager .
  • Customizable monitoring intervals.

VMM and Configuration Manager Plugin

Leverage OpenManage Enterprise functionality for server configuration, updates, and compliance.

  • Connect System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager consoles to OpenManage Enterprise.
  • Perform discovery and sync devices in OpenManage Enterprise or System Center consoles.
  • Perform operating system deployment on PowerEdge servers and create operating system deployment templates.
  • Leverage OpenManage Enterprise functionality for server configuration, updates, and compliance

OMEMSSC requires Open Manage Enterprise version 3.10 or later and the OpenManage Enterprise Advanced+ license on each managed PowerEdge server.
