Dell OpenManage Enterprise Update Manager Plugin
Dell OpenManage Enterprise Update Manager Plugin brings Dell Repository Manager functionality to OpenManage Enterprise. UMP streamlines the custom repository creation, baseline creation, catalog creation, and downloads of update packages to a single easy workflow. UMP allows for easy management of the repository, including; delete, import, and schedule refreshes. With UMP, you get an overview screen that shows key information, including Repository Name, Catalog used for creation, version, and color-coded criticality. UMP does not require a license to use.
You can use Dell Update Manager Plugin to:
- Update repository, catalog, or baseline creation in a single workflow.
- Using solution catalogs such as ESXi, Azure Stack, and Validated MX Stack.
- Using DRM created catalog and Server Update Utility (SUU) catalogs that are at a network location.
- Adding baselines automatically to the OpenManage Enterprise Firmware and Compliance page.
- Automate downloading of DUP packages to OpenManage Enterprise that allows efficient deployment of updates.
- Delete or import DUPs into custom repositories.
- Schedules refresh of custom updates for repository, catalog, and baseline .
- UMP v1.1 and later versions support OpenManage Enterprise 3.6 Scope-Based Access Control.
