Removing the GPU sled

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Remove the GPU cooling fans.
  3. Remove the GPU cooling fan cage.

Steps

  1. Press the blue plastic switches on the GPU sled lever and rotate the lever using both hands to the rear to disengage the GPU sled from the chassis.
  2. Holding both the CAM levers pull out the GPU sled.

  3. Press and slide the white plastic lock on the stab-in rail to disengage the GPU sled from the chassis.
    NOTE:This step is optional, and components can be removed or installed in the GPU sled while the sled is pulled out but still attached to the chassis.
