Installing the co-planar SFP module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. For Network optimized configurationRemove the OCP card riser.
  4. For Flexible configurationRemove the expansion card risers.

Steps

  1. Lower the co-planar SFP module in to the sled.
  2. Tighten the screw (6.0 +/- 0.2 in-lbf) to secure the co-planar SFP module.
  3. Connect the cable to the HPM connector.
