Installing the floating SFP module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. For Network optimized configurationRemove the OCP card riser.

Steps

  1. Lower the floating SFP module in to the sled.
  2. Tighten the two screws (6.0 +/- 0.2 in-lbf) to secure the floating SFP module.
  3. Connect the cables to the HPM connectors.
