PowerEdge XR8720t system configurations and features
The PowerEdge
XR8720t
system is a half-width 2U compute sled that supports:
- One Intel® Xeon® 6 SoC processor with vRAN boost up to 72* cores
- Up to 8* DDR5 DIMM slots
- Two redundant DC power supply units on the XR8000r chassis
- Up to 2 x M.2 SSD drives on Dual M.2 NVMe direct riser module (non-RAID)
- One M.2 SSD drive on the HPM board (for operating system)

CAUTION: Do not install GPUs, network cards, or other PCIe devices on your system that are not validated and tested by Dell. Damage caused by unauthorized and invalidated hardware installation will null and void the system warranty.
