Removing the floating SFP module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. For Network optimized configurationRemove the OCP card riser.

Steps

  1. Disconnect the cables frm the HPM.
  2. Loosen and remove the two screws securing the floating SFP module.
  3. Lift the module up to remove it from the sled.
