Removing the M.2 NVMe SSD module from the Dual M.2 riser

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. Remove the dual M.2 riser.

Steps

  1. Loosen and remove the screw securing the M.2 NVMe SSD.
  2. Lift the M.2 NVMe SSD module and then slowly pull the card outward to disconnect from thee connector.
