Removing the M.2 NVMe SSD module from the HPM

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. For Network optimized configuration: Remove the OCP card riser.
  4. For Flexible configuration: Remove the expansion card risers.

Steps

  1. Loosen and remove the screw securing the M.2 NVMe SSD.
  2. Lift the M.2 NVMe SSD module and then slowly pull the card outward to disconnect from the connector.
