Removing the QSFP module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. Remove the expansion card risers.
NOTE:Observe the cable routing before removing the part.

Steps

  1. Disconnect the cabples from the HPM.
  2. Loosen and remove the screw securing the QSFP module.
  3. Lift the QSFP module up to remove it from the sled.
