Installing the dual M.2 riser

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
  3. Remove the cables from the air shroud notch and place them on the other shroud.

Steps

  1. Align the standoff on riser module with the positioning holes on the chassis.
  2. Insert the riser module in to the connector on the HPM board and press down firmly on the blue touch points.
  3. Tighten the captive screw (6.0 +/- 0.2 in-lbf) on the riser module to secure it in place.
