Installing the speakers
CAUTION:The information in this installation section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
About this task
The following image(s) indicate the location of the speakers and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Using the alignment posts, place the speaker (R) into the slots on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
- Using the alignment posts, place the speaker (L) into the slots on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE:Ensure that the alignment posts are threaded through the rubber grommets on the speaker.
Next steps
- Install the
system board.
NOTE:The system board can be installed along with the solid state drive.
- Install the Type-C brackets.
- Install the heat sink.
- Install the fans.
- Install the battery.
- Install the base cover.
