Removing heatsink

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  3. To remove the heat sink:
    NOTE This section is for the UMA model only.
    1. Remove the M2*3 screws that secure the heat sink on the system board [1].
    2. Lift the heat sink away from the system board [2].
