Removing base cover

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. To remove the base cover:
    1. Loosen the M2.5*6.3 captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer [1].
    2. Pry the base cover from the edge and lift the base cover away from the computer [2].
      NOTE You may need a plastic scribe to pry the base cover from the edges.
