Installing the coin cell battery

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

Steps

  1. Hold the coin cell battery with the "+" sign facing up and slide it under the securing tabs of the connector on the system board.
  2. Press the battery into the connector until it locks into place.

Next steps

  1. Close the psu hinge.
  2. Install the cover.
  3. Follow the procedure in after working inside your computer.
