Installing the voltage regulator heat sink

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

Steps

  1. Align and replace the VR heatsink on the system board.
  2. Tighten the captive screws that secure the VR heatsink to the system board.

Next steps

  1. Install the heat sink assembly.
  2. Install the solid state drive.
  3. Install the graphics card.
  4. Close the psu hinge.
  5. Install the cover.
  6. Follow the procedure in after working inside your computer.
