Removing the intrusion switch
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the cover.
- Open the psu hinge.

The following images indicate the location of the intrusion switch and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Disconnect the intrusion switch cable from the connector on the system board and undo the cable that is routed along the clips on the chassis.
- Slide the intrusion switch and push it to remove it from its slot in the chassis.
