Installing the base cover
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
Steps
- Place the base cover on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly, and snap the base cover into place.
- Tighten the two captive screws (M2x8.8) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Replace the five screws (M2x4) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
