Storage Plug-in Options

You can view the Storage plug-in options for your system by clicking the Plug-in Options links in the Storage dial on the Dashboard page.

This page provides you with a link to purchase the Intel Cache Accelerating (CAS-W) software bundle for your system. This option is only available for Dell Precision Tower and Rack systems. For other Precision systems or systems which already have Intel CAS-W installed, this option is not displayed.

  • NOTE: Dell Precision Optimizer will not show this link if it detects that a Solid State Disk (SSD) is already installed. However, this detection may not work on all configurations.
