Removing the System Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. SD card

    2. base cover

    3. battery

    4. memory

    5. hard-drive assembly

    6. keyboard trim

    7. keyboard

    8. palmrest

    9. display-hinge brackets

    10. display assembly

  3. Disconnect the speaker cable [1] and release the speaker cable from its routing channels [2]. Figure displaying how to remove the speaker cable and how to release the speaker cable from its routing channel.
