Installing the USB-C modules

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

About this task

NOTE:The left and right USB-C modules can be removed and replaced independently, and are not required to be removed or replaced as a pair.

Steps

  1. Align the screw holes on the right USB-C module with the screw holes on the system board.
  2. Replace the two screws (M2x4.5) that secure the right USB-C module to the system board.
  3. Align the screw holes on the left USB-C module with the screw holes on the system board.
  4. Replace the three screws (M2x4.5) that secure the left USB-C module to the system board.
