Removing the right I/O daughterboard

The following image indicates the location of the right I/O daughterboard and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.

NOTE:The left and right I/O daughterboards can be removed and replaced independently, and are not required to be removed or replaced as a pair.

Steps

  1. Remove the screw (M1.6x3.4) that secures the right PCBeam cable to the right I/O daughterboard.
  2. Angle the right PCBeam cable away then pry off the right PCBeam interposer board from the right I/O daughterboard, storing it carefully for reuse.
    CAUTION:Handle the PCBeam interposer with care by the edges. Avoid touching the pins on the connectors.
  3. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the right I/O daughterboard to the base cover.
  4. Hold the right I/O daughterboard by the short edges, and lift it off the base cover with care.
