Installing the system fan
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the system fan and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align and place the system fan onto the palm-rest assembly.
- Replace the two (M1.6x2.5) screws that secure the system fan to the palm-rest assembly.
- Connect the system fan cable to the connector on the system board.
