Removing the SIM card tray
Prerequisites
NOTE Ensure that your computer is in Service Mode. For more information see, step 6 in
Before working inside your computer.
About this task
The following image provides a visual representation of the SIM card tray removal procedure.
Steps
- Insert the SIM card removal pin into the release hole to release the SIM card tray.
- Push the pin to disengage the lock, and eject the SIM card tray.
- Slide the SIM card tray out of the slot on the system.
- Remove the Micro-SIM from the SIM card tray.
- Slide the SIM card tray back into the slot on the system.
