Removing the WWAN main antenna module
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in
Before working inside your computer.
NOTE Ensure that your computer is in Service Mode. For more information see, step 6 in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the SD card.
- Remove the SIM card tray.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the WWAN card.
- Remove the heat sink.
- Remove the display assembly.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the I/O daughter board.
- Remove the system board.
- Remove the USH daughter board.

Steps
- Remove the four (M1.6x3) screws securing the WWAN main antenna module to the palm-rest assembly.
- Lift the WWAN main antenna module off the system.
