Removing the keyboard

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  3. Gently pry out the keyboard using a plastic scribe.

  4. Pry out the lower edge of the keyboard [1] and flip it over [2].

  5. Then, disconnect the backlight connector [1] and the keyboard connector [2].

  6. Remove the keyboard away from the computer.
