Installing the palmrest

  1. To install the palmrest:
    1. Align the palmrest on the system and press until it snaps in its place .

    2. Replace the 2 (M2.0x3.0) screws to secure the palmrest to the system [1].
    3. Connect the system board and power button cable to the connectors on the system board [2,3].

    4. Turn the system and replace the 2 (M2.0x3.0) and the 11 (M2.0x5.0) screws to secure the palmrest to the system [1, 2].
    5. Connect the touchpad cable to the connector on the system board and lock the latch [3].

  2. Install the:
    1. keyboard
    2. hard disk
    3. battery
    4. base cover
    5. SD card
  3. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
