Removing the battery
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
- Remove the SD memory card
- Remove the base cover
Steps
- Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
- Remove the four (M2x3) screws that secure the battery to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [1].
- Lift the battery off the palmrest and keyboard assembly [2].
