Removing the Display Panel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

    2. display bezel

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the display panel to the display assembly [1].
    2. Lift the display panel to access the eDP cable [2].

  4. Peel the adhesive tape [1] to access the eDP cable [2].Figure displaying peeling the connector tape..
  5. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Disconnect the eDP cable from its connector on the display assembly [2].
