Removing the Network Daughter Card

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system .

  3. Remove the mezzanine card.

Steps

  1. Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the Network Daughter Card (NDC) to the system board.
    • CAUTION: To prevent damage to the NDC, you must hold the card only by its edges.
  2. Lift the card from the system board.
