Procedure

  1. Using the pull-tab, disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system board.
  2. Remove the three screws (M2.5x8) that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.
  3. Lift the hard-drive assembly along with its cable off the computer base. Image: Removing the hard drive
  4. Remove the four screws (M3x3) that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard-drive assembly.
