Installing the battery

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

Installing the battery

Steps

  1. Place the battery on the palm-rest assembly.
  2. Align the screw holes on the batery to the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Replace the four screws (M2x4) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
  4. Replace the four screws (M2x3) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
