Removing display hinge

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. microSD card
    2. base cover
    3. battery
    4. display assembly
    5. display bezel
    6. display panel
  3. To remove display hinge:
    1. Remove the M2.5x2.5 screws that secure the display hinge to the display assembly [1].
    2. Lift the display hinge away from the display assembly [2].
