Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2015 basic functions

BIOS Update

BIOS updates for the Edge Gateway may be downloaded from https://www.dell.com/support. The download will include an executable that may be ran from the local machine.

Watchdog Timer

The Watchdog Timer for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2015 is controlled via the BIOS setting. Enter the BIOS during boot by pressing F2. The Watchdog Timer is enabled and disabled under the BIOS setting Watchdog Timer.

TPM Support

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2015 supports TPM 2.0. Access the following link for TPM resources: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc749022(v=ws.10).aspx

System Shutdown and Restart

Click the Start Icon and then press Power then Restart or Shutdown the Edge Gateway.

LAN/WLAN Network configuration

Click the Start Icon and then type Settings and open the Settings window. Select Network & Internet from the settings menu.

Bluetooth configuration

Click the Start Icon and then type Settings and open the Settings window. Select Devices from the settings menu and then select Bluetooth from the menu on the left panel.

Follow the Service Manual to install and configure the WWAN module and the corresponding carrier SIM card for the system. After the WWAN module and the SIM cards are installed:
  1. Click the Start Icon and then type Settings and open the Settings window.
  2. Select Network & Internet from the Settings Menu.
  3. Locate the WWAN connection in the Wi-Fi section and select the entry to connect and disconnect from the WWAN adapter.

HE910 Network configuration
