Boost performance

About this task

SupportAssist scans your PC and frees up hard drive space, removes clutter, and improves performance with file optimization.

Steps

  1. On the Home page, click Boost performance.
    The Run scans and optimizations page is displayed.
  2. Click Start.
    NOTE:During file cleanup, the types of files that may be deleted are Recycle Bin files, browser cache, temporary installation files, and log files from running programs.

Results

SupportAssist boosts the performance of the PC, and the result of the scan is displayed in the Report summary section.
