Managing recovery sandboxes
The Cyber Recovery software creates a recovery sandbox during a recovery operation and populates it with the selected copy. The sandbox is available to the application host.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in as the admin user.
- A recovery operation has been run.
About this task
NOTE:A
Sheltered Harbor deployment does not support recovery sandboxes. A
Sheltered Harbor recovery creates a system sandbox that contains the encrypted
Sheltered Harbor archive volume. For more information, see
Performing a Sheltered Harbor recovery.
The
Recovery Sandboxes pane is empty until you run a recovery operation.
Steps
- From the Main Menu, click Recovery
- On the Recovery content pane, click Recovery Sandboxes.

Do one of the following:
- To view the recovery details, select the recoverapp_<ID> name.

To validate success, click
Launch App to access the
PowerProtect Data Manager UI in the
Cyber Recovery vault.
The Launch App button is not available unless a recovery has completed successfully.
- To clean up for an existing recovery, click Cleanup.

To capture information about all recovery sandboxes in a
.csv file, click
Export All.
The Cyber Recovery software downloads the recoverysandboxes.csv file.
