Running a PowerProtect Data Manager recovery check

Run a scheduled or on-demand PowerProtect Data Manager recovery check to ensure that after a successful recovery a copy can be recovered.

1. Schedule a recovery check:
   1. In the Policies content pane, click Schedules.
   2. On the Schedule Information page, complete the following fields and then click Next:

      Field	Description
      Schedule Name	Specify a schedule name.
      Policy	Select the policy that you are scheduling.
      Action	Select the Recovery Check.
      Application Host	Select the PowerProtect Data Manager host.

   3. On the Scheduling page, complete the following fields and then click Next:

      Field	Description
      Frequency	Enter the frequency in days and hours.
      Next Run Date	Select the date and time to start running the policy under this schedule. NOTE:The Cyber Recovery UI uses the same time zone as the Cyber Recovery management host for the scheduled time.

   4. Review the Summary page and either:
      • Click Finish if you are satisfied with the summary information and want to add the schedule.
      • Click Back to return to the previous page to change the information.
      • Click Edit to return to a specific page in the wizard to change information.
2. Run an on-demand recovery check.
   1. Select Recovery from the Main Menu.
   2. Under Copies, select a copy.
   3. Click Recovery Check.
   The recovery check runs immediately.
