Roadmap for NAS protection

Complete the following objectives to protect NAS assets.

Steps

  1. Review the NAS protection prerequisites and complete the initial configuration.

  2. Enable the NAS asset source.

  3. Add a NAS appliance or share.

  4. Deploy at least one protection engine.
  5. Configure a protection policy for NAS assets.
  6. If required, perform a manual backup with the NAS protection policy.
