Before you begin
Before you begin license activation, review the following information.
When a PowerProtect Data Manager sales order is approved, a license authorization letter is automatically sent to the email addresses provided during order entry. The letter contains the License Authorization Code (LAC), which is required to begin license activation.
Follow the instructions in the license authorization letter to begin license activation.
If you do not have the license authorization letter or LAC, follow the steps in Troubleshooting licensing issues.
