Create an Azure account

To deploy PowerProtect Data Manager to Azure, you must have an Azure account. To set up an account, navigate to Azure. For information about creating an Azure account, see Create an Azure Account.

Minimum required Azure roles

When deploying Azure, the following roles are required:

• Virtual Machine Contributor
• Network Contributor
• Managed Application Contributor Role
• Storage Account Contributor
