Supported update paths
You can update directly to version 19.16 of PowerProtect Data Manager from any supported release version and software version.
NOTE:If more than one update has been made available to a supported release version, only the specific software version of the latest update is supported in a direct update to version 19.16.
Supported releases and software versions
The following release versions and software versions are supported:
NOTE:Some release versions support updating from both a regular software version and the software version of a patch.

Updating from a supported release version and software version
If your deployment of PowerProtect Data Manager is both a supported release version and a supported software version, you can update directly to version 19.16 of PowerProtect Data Manager.
Updating from an unsupported release version or software version
If your deployment of PowerProtect Data Manager is either an unsupported release version or an unsupported software version, you must first update to a supported release version and software version before updating to version 19.16.
