Clone a protection policy

Cloning existing protection policies simplifies the creation of similar protection policies.

From the left navigation pane, select Protection > Protection Policies.
The Protection Policies window appears.
In the Protection Policies window, select the entry of a protection policy to clone.
Click Edit.
The Clone Policy window appears.
In the Clone Policy window, specify the following fields, and then click Clone.
- Policy Name—By default, the name of the protection policy is the name of the original protection policy with - Copy appended. You can edit this name.
- Description—Type a description for the protection policy.

The protection policy is created without any assets. Edit the protection policy to add assets to it as you would with any other protection policy.
