The PowerProtect Data Manager UI also provides the options to edit, delete, and download a pre-script or post-script.
Edit a pre-script or post-script
To edit a script, perform the following steps.

In the PowerProtect Data Manager UI, select .
The Scripts page appears.
- Select the script, and then click Edit.
- On the Edit Script page, the Name, Type, Compatibility, and Script fields are prepopulated. Optionally, click Upload to upload a script and have the script text appear in the Script text box.
- Edit the script text as required, and then click Save.
Delete a pre-script or post-script
To delete a script that is not associated with an asset group or protection policy, perform the following steps.

In the PowerProtect Data Manager UI, select .
The Scripts page appears.
- Select the script name, and then click Delete.
NOTE:
If all pre-scripts and post-scripts are deleted, the
Total field might show a value of
1 instead of
0.
Download a pre-script or post-script copy
To download a copy of a script to the local host, perform the following steps.

In the PowerProtect Data Manager UI, select .
The Scripts page appears.
- Select the script name, and then click Download.
