iDRAC Service Module 5.0.1.0 supports the following new operating systems:
  • Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS
  • VMware vSphere ESXi 8.0

Enhanced features

The following is the enhanced feature on iDRAC Service Module 5.0.1.0:
  • On Dell PowerEdge servers with VMware ESXi 7.x operating system installed, the iDRAC Service Module monitors Network Interface Card (NIC) connectivity to iDRAC network, and reconfigures the USB NIC interface if vusb0 uplink is not available.
