Cryptography is a method of protecting information and communications using encrypted algorithms. The goal is to allow only those entities for whom the information is intended to read and process the information.
iDRAC Service Module (iSM) supports TLS 1.3 starting with iSM version 4.2.0.0 along with iDRAC v5.10.00.00. iSM generates self-signed certificates to communicate with iDRAC. The following sections indicate the set of algorithms that are supported by iSM and iDRAC during the TLS handshake.
