Dell iDRAC Service Module Security Configuration Guide

Obtain Dell advisories and updates

Dell technical advisories (DTAs), Dell security advisories (DSAs), and code updates are available on the Dell Support site. These documents provide important information and solutions for issues that affect iDRAC Service Module.

1. To view current lists of DTAs and DSAs:
   1. Go to the iDRAC Service Module product page on the Dell Support site.
   2. Click the Advisories tab.
   3. Select Technical or Security.
2. To subscribe to receive email notifications about new DTAs and DSAs:
   1. Go to the iDRAC Service Module product page on the Support site.
   2. Ensure that you are logged in with a customer account.
   3. Locate the Contact Us tab on the right side of the browser window, and click Contact Us > Notifications .
   4. Select one or both of these toggles:
      • Dell Technical Advisory
      • Dell Security Advisory
3. To download product updates:
   1. Go to the iDRAC Service Module product page on the Dell Support site.
   2. Ensure that you are logged in with a customer account.
   3. Click the Downloads tab.
   4. Use the filters to find updates for your product version.
      NOTE:Your customer account controls access to product downloads.
