Removing the memory module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the stand.
  3. Remove the back cover.
  4. Remove the I/O cover.
  5. Remove the system-board shield.

Steps

  1. Carefully spread apart the securing-clips on each end of the memory-module slot until the memory module pops-up.
  2. Slide and remove the memory module from the memory-module slot.
    NOTE:Repeat steps 1 and 2 if you want to remove the other memory module.
