Removing the middle-frame assembly
CAUTION:The information in this section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the stand.
- Remove the back cover.
- Remove the I/O cover.
- Remove the hard drive.
- Remove the system-board shield.
- Remove the media-card reader.
- Remove the fan.
- Remove the memory module.
- Remove the wireless card.
- Remove the retractable-camera assembly.
- Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive or, M.2 2280 solid-state drive, which ever applicable.
- Remove the integrated heat sink or, discrete heat sink.
- Remove the system board.
- Remove the speakers.
- Remove the microphones.
- Remove the stand hinges.
- Remove the power-button board with USB.
- Remove the display panel.
