Removing coin cell battery
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Disconnect the battery cable.
- To remove the coin cell battery:
- Disconnect the coin cell battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
- Pry the coin cell battery to release it from the adhesive and lift it from the computer [2].
