Removing the hard drive

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. To remove the hard drive:
    1. Unlock the hard drive press latch door [1].
    2. Push it downwards to open it [2].
    3. Push and hold the hard drive release button to the left while pulling on the plastic hard drive tab [3].
    4. Pull the hard drive away from the computer [4].
